“Favour” by Lawrence Oyor is a powerful Nigerian gospel song that celebrates the unmerited grace and favor of God. The song speaks to the believer’s heart, declaring that God’s favor is a divine blessing that cannot be earned but is freely given by His love and mercy.
In Psalm 5:12, the Bible says, “Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.” This scripture beautifully aligns with the essence of this song as it highlights the protective, empowering, and transformative nature of God’s favor.
