Nathaniel Bassey, the renowned Nigerian gospel minister, trumpeter, and worship leader, continues to bless the world with his soul-stirring music, and his latest offering, “Spirit Chant (Where The River Goes)“, is no exception. This song, a deep and captivating worship piece, is one of the gems from his newly released 18-track album, “The River“, which dropped on December 12th, 2024.
Nathaniel Bassey’s signature style of blending passionate worship with Spirit-filled melodies is evident in this song. The chant-like delivery creates an atmosphere of communion with God, where believers are encouraged to yield to the Holy Spirit and follow His lead, just as a river flows effortlessly to its destination. It’s a powerful reminder of Isaiah 43:19: “Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”
This song isn’t just a chant; it’s a movement of faith and surrender. As you listen, allow yourself to be drawn into the flow of God’s Spirit, where burdens are lifted, and hearts are revived. Let the lyrics and melodies remind you of Ezekiel 47:9: “Where the river flows, everything will live.”
