Tim Godfrey, one of Nigeria’s most anointed gospel voices, alongside the Fearless Community, has once again blessed the world with a powerful new song titled “Abum Onye (Just Negodu)“. This soul-lifting masterpiece comes straight from his spirit-inspired “A Letter To My Daddy” album, a 5-track collection released on December 4th, 2024.
As you listen, you are reminded of Psalm 8:4: “What is man, that You are mindful of him? And the son of man, that You visit him?” The song becomes a question of wonder: Who am I that God has chosen to bless, love, and raise? Tim Godfrey’s powerful vocals and the harmonious voices of the Fearless Community resonate deeply, ushering listeners into a place of reflection and thanksgiving.
Taken from A Letter To My Daddy, this project is Tim Godfrey’s heartfelt offering to God, a testament to his walk with the Father and his recognition of the countless mercies poured over his life. Abum Onye stands as a declaration of humility and awe—acknowledging that without God, we are nothing, but in Him, we are everything.
As you lift your hands to the sound of Abum Onye (Just Negodu), let your spirit rejoice in the truth of Romans 8:31: “If God be for us, who can be against us?” This is more than just a song—it is a call to reflect on where God has brought you from, and to stand boldly as a testimony of His unending love and grace.
